Garden

Our garden is carefully planned and is regularly used by the different groups daily, weather permitting. We not only have toys to encourage physical play but the garden is used as an extension of the play room, the children are able to be creative and express their imagination in a variety of ways.

Health and Safety

To ensure that the children are safe and secure at all times in the Nursery, we undertake a thorough health and safety assessment throughout the year. Our staff are given clear and detailed procedures concerning the health and safety issues in the Nursery. If your child has an accident in the Nursery this will be recorded in the accident book and you will be informed. Similarly, we ask you to inform us of any injuries or accident that happened during their time away from the Nursery. All our staff joining the Nursery are expected to achieve the First Aid Course as soon as can be arranged.

Closed Circuit Cameras

The nursery has CCTV facilities which are set up for recording images inside and outside of the nursery. Currently this system is being used to support parents when settling their children into the nursery. It is the nursery's aim to securely open up this facility to parents over the internet, so they may view their child in the nursery during booked sessions.
